Lieblinge der Woche ♥

Howdy!

Nachdem ich euch bereits meine Februarfavoriten vorstellen durfte (vorheriger Post), möchte ich euch nun meine Lieblinge der Woche vorstellen, die vorgestern bei mir eingetrudelt sind:

Es handelt sich um die neue SeeBy Chloé Bodylotion und den hübschen Essie Nagellack Peach Daiquiri.

Wie ihr sehen könnt, passt der Lack perfekt zu der Aufmachung der Lotion. Generell haben alle weiteren Verpackungen für die Produkte des neuen Dufts von Chloé dieses Design. Was für ein Zufall. Es ist mir wirklich erst aufgefallen, als ich den Lack aufgetragen hatte und dann die Lotion ausprobieren wollte.

Zu der Lotion:

Es handelt sich um einen floralen Duft aus Bergamotte, Apfelblüte und Jasmin mit einer leichten Note von Sandelholz und Vanille. Normalerweise bin ich kein Fan von Vanille, aber man riecht sie nicht wirklich. Sie verleiht dem Duft nur eine leichte süße.

Die Lotion an sich hat eine seidige, leichte Textur. Sie ist feuchtigkeitsspendend und zieht schnell ein. Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden mit der Lotion und spiele mit dem Gedanken, sie in Originalgröße nachzukaufen.

Diese Tube umfasst 30ml. Die Originalgröße enthält 150ml und kostet ca. 25€.

Zum Lack:

Ich LIEBE Essie. Jedoch bin ich ein kleiner Geizkragen und kaufe mir dann doch immer eher mehere Catricelacke als einen Essielack. Diesen Lack habe ich mir (wie die Lotion auch) ertauscht.

Die Farbe heißt Peach Daiquiri und wer schon einmal einen Daiquiri getrunken hat, weiß, dass der Name perfekt passt!
Der Lack lässt sich super auftragen und trocknet sehr schnell.
Essielacke sind wirklich ihr Geld wert!



Außerdem kam heute endlich das Päckchen von MUA an. Einen Haul gibt es nach dem Wochenende.

Review: LUSH Dragons Egg

Howdy!

Heute möchte ich euch die Badekugel "Dragons Egg" von LUSH vorstellen.

Viele von euch kennen LUSH sicher schon. Dort kann man handgefertigte, vegane "Bio"-Kosmetikartikel erwerben.
Natürlich sind die Produkte teurer als herkömmliche Drogerieartikel, jedoch bin ich wirklich von LUSH überzeugt. Es bietet sich vor allem an im Sale zuzuschlagen ;)

Ich habe mich nun schon quer durch das Sortiment probiert und möchte euch nun immer wieder kleine Reviews zu einzelnen Produkten geben.

Erscheinungsbild: Das Dragons Egg sieht von außen total unscheinbar aus. Es ist eine schlichte, weiße Kugel. Doch im Inneren befindet sich buntes Badekonfetti und ein orangener Kern.
Das Wasser färbt sich beim Auflösen der Kugel in einem orange-caramel Ton und ein besonderer Effekt sind hübsche Glitzerschwaden, die um euch herumziehen wenn ihr in der Badewanne liegt. Der einzige Nachteil: Ihr glitzert von Kopf bis Fuß, und das für die nächsten Tage.

Duft: Zitrone, Bergamotte, Jasmin. Sehr frisch und angenehm!

Wirkung: Eure Haut wird samtig weich gepflegt und gereinigt. Ihr fühlt euch nach diesem Bad einfach total "sauber" und frisch!

Die sehen ja wie gelackt aus...

Hallo ihr Blümchen!

Heute war ich mit meinem Freund im dm einkaufen, weil er für seinen Aufenthalt in Kenia noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten benötigte. Ich hatte mir fest vorgenommen, nichts mehr zu kaufen, da ich im Sortimentswechsel-Sale schon kräftig zugeschlagen hatte.

Aber dann sah ich den Aufsteller mit den neuen Catrice Nagellacken.
Laut Catrice ist der offizielle Verkaufsstart der 11. März und ich hatte extra vorgestern noch beim dm angerufen und gefragt, wann denn die neuen Catrice Lacke kommen. Antwort: "In 2 Wochen."

War mir im Endeffekt auch schnuppe, ich hab den dm mit 3 neuen Lacken verlassen *shame on me*

Hier die Errungenschaften:

Links: 24 The GlamoureX Factor, ein schöner leicht rosé-goldener Lack.

Mitte: 32 The Dark Knight, ein dunkles Lila. Ich fand den Namen besonders cool, ich denke, der war aussschlaggebend für den Kauf :D 

Rechts: Robert's Red Ford, ein dunkles Pink, das ins Rot übergeht. 

In England ist alljährlich "Pancake-Day", sprich Pfannkuchentag. Dieses Jahr fand er am 5. Februar statt. Mein Freund hat an diesem Tag leider nicht Zuhause in England sein können, um die Pancakes seiner Mum zu genießen.

Ich dachte mir, ich mache ihm vor seinem Einsatz in Kenia noch einmal eine Freude, also haben wir Pancakes gemacht!

Das Rezept:

4 Eier
1 TL Salz
1 EL Zucker
1 TL Backpulver
300 g Mehl
350 ml Milch

Gebt einfach alles in eine Schüssel und rührt es mit einem Schneebesen zu einem glatten Teig, bis wirklich keine Klümpchen mehr zu sehen sind. Mehlklumpen im Pfannkuchen sind genauso ekelig wie Klumpen im Pudding...

Danach gebt ihr eine Kelle des Teigs in eine heiße Pfanne mit etwas Öl oder Butter. Verteilt den Teig über den gesamten Boden der Pfanne, damit ihr ein schönes rundes Ergebnis bekommt.

Gebt nicht zu viel Teig in die Pfanne, da der Kuchen durch das Backpulver sehr aufgeht!

Backt den Pfannkuchen von beiden Seiten schön hellbraun an, passt aber auf, dass er nicht schwarz wird ;)

Wenn der Pfannkuchen fertig ist, könnt ihr in mit allem möglichen füllen bzw. bestreichen. Wenn ihr es herzhaft mögt, dann lasst bei der Zubereitung des Teigs aber den Zucker weg!

Ich liebe meine Pfannkuchen mit Nutella, Marmelade oder Zucker.

Mein Liebster verzehrt seine immer mit Zitronensaft und tonnenweise Zucker... Nicht mein Ding, aber er findet's super.

Das war unser letzter gemeinsamer Tag für die nächsten 6 Wochen.

Pinkbox Februar 2013 - Surprise Surprise!

Endlich ist es da, mein erstes Video.
Die Quali ist bescheiden, und ich bin leider momentan krank so wie viele andere Deutsche, aber letztendlich zählt der Inhalt und der Wille.

It's new, it's pink, i love it.

Howdy lovely you!

A few days ago i ordered some things from e.l.f. (eyes lips face). I have never heard about this brand before. It's an American one and it's really cheap and the first thing you think when you hear about the prices is "Oh my lord that must be rubbish!"
But, it's surprisingly not!

Here's my haul and my review for the e.l.f. products.

 So, as you can see the products are completely new! 

This lipstick was only 1,79€. It's called "Seductive" and it's a nice dark pink.
The only thing i don't like about this product is how it looks like from the outside. I think it looks pretty cheap.
But what can you expect for 1,79€? 

That's a 3in1 Stick. You can use it as a lipstick, eyeshadow or blush.
Again i chose a nice dark pink, it's called "Pink Lemonade".
It cost 1,79€ like the lipstick. 








                                                                                          

That's the tinted Moisturizer in shade "light beige". It fits really perfect to my skin tone so if you order some foundation, bb cream or powder on e.l.f. you can be sure it will fit your usual skin tone :)

It was 1,79€ again.

That's a compact blush in shade "Blushing". I don't like the small brush because it feels very hard and scratchy but i like the small mirror. Also this blush was very easy to apply so i am really happy about this bargain, 2,99€.

I couldn't test the liquid eyeliner yet. All the products smell so amazing like fresh fruits and the colours look exactly like on the pictures on the website. Also, when i went to town today to go to the post office i also had a look around in my favorite drugstore. At the moment ALL Catrice Nailpolishes are on sale because they will get a complete new range of nailpolishes so i took this great chance and bought 5 ones:

All of them where 1,75€ instead of 2,45€.
SO WORTH IT!



Soon, this blog will also become my diary. My boyfriend who's a soldier in the British Army will go to Kenya for 6 weeks so i will tell you about what happens in that time and how i am feeling... I guess i will do lots of shopping to make the time past faster ;)

Hello Floras!

Valentine's day is coming very soon and what is more lovely than some cute rosy cheeks?
Here are my Cream Blushes. Of course also my favorite one and the worse one i ever bought!

From the left to the right:

Liquid Rouge from alverde cosmetics, 2,75€

Soft mousse blush from essence, 2,45€

Max Factor miracle touch creamy blush, 5,95€

Catrice cream to powder blush, 3,95€ each!

That's the liquid rouge in shade dark apricot.
When i saw it in the store i was surprised about a liquid blush but after i gave it a try i was really happy about owning it! It is really easy to use and it looks so pretty!
Definately a bargain!

That's my favorite blush. It's the Max Factor one in shade soft murano.
It's a very longlasting blush which gives your skin a natural, healthy rosy look!

 

 

Those are the cream to powder blushes from catrice. They were in a Limited Edition which is no longer available. On the left, there's shade C02 Rose's Wood which is a really light pink. On my skin it looks more like a shiny highlighter but i still like it.

On the right, there is the C01 Coral-al-al-al which is a really nice coral pink as you can see. I think it looks great in summer on a nice tan.

 

The worse cream blush i ever bought: The Essence soft mousse blush. When you try to put it on your skin with a finger, it looks like that:


So horrible! It just does not stay where it should stay and it doesn't feel good at all. Definately not worth to buy!!!

Happy Valentine's Day with GLOSSYBOX!

Good morning lovely you!

This morning i recieved my very first GLOSSYBOX. It's the german one of course because i am living in Germany but i guess the ones in America for example could include similar products.

This Box is the Valentine's Edition and i am really happy with my first Box.           

 This is how the Package looks like in which the Box came. It's brown with the light pink emblem of GLOSSYBOX.

And this is how the Box itself looks like. This time it's a pink box that represents the topic of this box: Valentinesday.

Inside the box, there are the light pink emblems again on a dark pink background. The products are wrapped in soft paper and there's a sticker with the emblem and a nice pink bow. On the card all included products are explained but i didn't look on the card untill i saw all the products in the box :)

In the box there's always the GLOSSYMag which is a magazine about new products and styles. This time they present nice styles for a Valentine's Date :) I also got this cute Valentine's Card.

 

 

So i opened the box and i was sooooo excited! This blue flyer on top is a coupon which says that i get 12% off on DR.BRONNERS products...

 

And so the first product in the box is a "DR. BRONNER'S MAGIC SOAP".
This castille liquide soap smells like lavender and i really like the smell. It's made of Coconut-, Olive-, Jojoba- and Hempoil.
DR. BRONNER'S is THE best selling bio cosmetics producer in America.
The bottle is a fullsize product.

This product is my highlight of the box.
It's a Lip Luxe Duo from MODEL CO.
It's the colour "Dusk Lipstick & Striptease Gloss" and i think it's a really nice colour :)
As you can see, on the one side there's the gloss and on the other side there's the lipstick.

It's a fullsize product again.
(30€ 3,5g + 5ml)

 

The next two items are a moisturizing body cream from "GERTRUD GRUBER" and a mask from "être belle".

The cream smells very soft and like roses. It's made of shea- and olivebutter. I haven't tried it yet but i will this evening.
It's a tester. I guess there are 25ml in there.
(OP: 29,90€ 250 ml)





The mask is a tester, too.
It's a Aloe Vera Hydro Mask.
I can't say much about that mask and to be honest i never use face masks but i will give this one a try.
(OP: 30,80€ 10 masks)

 

The last product is the "Shortsexyhair SHATTER Finishing Spray".
You spray it into your wet or dry hair and style your hair. It works like hairspray.
That's a fullsize product!

Not as a product but as a nice present my GLOSSYBOX
included a tester for the new Valentino Perfume "Valentina Acqua Floreale". I really like the floral smell and i will put it to my other collection of testers :) I guess you can get testers like these in every drugstores which sells perfumes.

 

 

The items in this box usually cost around 57,61€.
I am really happy about the perfume, the Lip Duo and the Soap. I also like the Body Cream.
I will give the mask a try but i guess i will give the hairproduct to my mum :)

LUSH Haul

Hello lovely you!

I just ordered some really nice things from LUSH and they arrived two days after i ordered them!

LUSH is known for handmade cosmetics which don't pollute the environement. Also, they don't test their products on animals and all their products are vegan!
Of course the prices are much higher than for normal soaps, bathbombs and so on, but i think that it's worth the price. I feel really good knowing that no animal had to suffer and that i pollute the environement less than others :)

So, here's the stuff i got!

Let me introduce you to "The Godmother".
It's a dark pink soap which smells like a mix of strawberry toothpaste and candyfloss!
My entire bathroom smells like this soap after i took it out of the package.
I am soooo in love with this soap. It makes your skin feel really soft and you smell like all the amazing sweet smells from your childhood :)

This bathbomb is called "Twilight".

As you can see it has small and big stars on it and also a half-moon. It's light violett and smells like lavender and Ylang Ylang.
The coolest thing is about this bathbomb is that the water changes its colour after a few minutes!
It turns from light violett with a bit of blue to a dark pink and indigo!
I can't wait to try this :)

I want candy but i don't want the calories!
This pretty pink bubble bar is called "Creamy Candy". A sweet creamy candy-floss pink bath that’s like a hug in a soft fluffy towel. This one is a girly night in. Makes you want to put on your cutest jammies, bounce on the bed and have a pillow fight.

The pink all things girly, "Bubblegum" flavour lip scrub.
